Did you know that kiwis contain twice as much vitamin C than an orange? This little fruit is also packed with vitamins A, B6, B12, E, as well as potassium, calcium, iron and magnesium, making them great for your health and wellbeing.
Although having a portion of spinach might not be able to give you miracle strength as depicted by the well-known sailor Popeye, it does have a number of great health benefits. Everyone knows spinach is packed with iron but did you know it’s also rich in vitamin K which is important for keeping your bones healthy?
Our recipe is super simple and packed with goodness so grab the ingredients and try it today.
½ mango (150g), chopped
1 banana (120g), chopped
1 kiwi (75g), peeled and diced
Prana Protein Unflavoured Vegan Protein Blend (30g)
1 teaspoon agave nectar (4g)
Prana Protein chia seeds and sunflower seeds for decoration.
How to make:
Add banana, mango and kiwi to a blender with water, a scoop of vegan protein and agave nectar.
Blend for 20 seconds.
Add spinach and blend for a further 20 seconds.
Pour into glass or bowl.
Add the additional seeds for an extra crunch and decoration.
Tip: add less or more water for desired eating/pouring consistency.
